The complementary quote
A complementary quote comes afterwards: following a quote already sent or accepted, or a project already invoiced. TAYO.pro creates a new, independent project for this extra work.
It is usually an additional proposal, non-blocking for the existing work order and quote: those follow their normal course, whether the complementary one is accepted or not.
How to do it
Section titled “How to do it”When no more quotes can be added to the project, the Quotes card replaces its + with a note and a Complementary quote button. The note says why:
- “A quote has already been sent. Edit it to correct it or add variants; for additional work, send a complementary quote.”
- “A quote has already been accepted. Additional work goes on a complementary quote.”
- “Invoicing has started: no quote can be sent on this order anymore.”
Click Complementary quote and confirm. TAYO.pro carries over the client, the job site, the locations and the tag, and prefills the description:

The wizard opens straight on the Quote step: all that is left is to enter the amount, attach your PDF and send. The steps are those of a spontaneous quote.
Why not touch the original quote
Section titled “Why not touch the original quote”Because it has already been sent, or even accepted. Changing it afterwards muddles the tracking: the property manager approved an amount, and it must stay as it is.
A complementary quote keeps the two amounts separate and traceable. If there is a discussion later, you can clearly see what was planned and what was added.
If the original quote is only Sent and you want to correct it — an amount, a variant —, edit it instead: see Correct a sent quote.
For invoices too
Section titled “For invoices too”The same principle exists for invoices. Once a project’s final invoice has gone out, the Invoices card shows “This project has already been invoiced: no further invoice can be added.” and a Complementary invoice button, with the prefilled description “Complementary invoice — following order …”. Conditions and limits
Section titled “Conditions and limits”- Prefilling is part of the PLUS plan. With the BASIC plan, the button shows a padlock and offers Create from scratch: you create a spontaneous quote and enter the client and the job site yourself — for your Tayo clients only.
- The button does not appear on a project in New request, Awaiting approval, Request declined or Canceled.
- Other work, unrelated to this work order: that is a spontaneous quote.
