Invoice statuses

An Accepted invoice is not yet Paid: you are the one who confirms the payment, once the money has arrived — even if the property manager has accepted it.

Status What it means
Draft Saved on your side, nobody has received it.
Sent Received, or marked as sent, with no answer yet. It can be corrected.
Accepted The client approves the amount — the money has not necessarily arrived.
Rejected The client turns the invoice down.
Paid - Unverified The payment is assumed, not yet confirmed by you.
Paid You have confirmed that the money arrived.

Moving automatically from Accepted to Paid - Unverified is a PLUS plan module, off by default: see Automatically mark an accepted invoice as paid.

What the final invoice does to the project

Section titled “What the final invoice does to the project”

Only the final invoice drives the project’s status; a deposit invoice leaves it alone.

The final invoice moves to… The project moves to…
Sent or Accepted Awaiting payment
Paid - Unverified or Paid Done
Rejected or Draft Invoice to send
  • The dashboard counter counts invoices, not projects: a project can carry several invoices, and its Awaiting payment status may come from Tayo or have been forced. So the two figures often differ.
