Automatically mark an accepted invoice as paid

Yes, an accepted invoice can move to Paid - Unverified on its own. It is a module of the PLUS plan, off by default.

On Tayo, a property manager can accept your invoice — but accepting it does not mean they have made the transfer. That is why an Accepted invoice stays awaiting payment until you have confirmed you received the money.

Once the module is on, as soon as the property manager accepts an invoice, TAYO.pro moves it to Paid - Unverified. If it is the final invoice, the project moves to Done.

“Unverified” means you can still confirm the actual payment later, with Mark as paid on the invoice’s row. And since the invoice is no longer Accepted, its invoice reminders stop.

The module is turned on in Settings → Application: Automate accepted invoices to paid unverified.

Two typical situations:

  • you do not use invoice reminders and you consider an invoice accepted by the property manager to be a paid invoice;
  • you do not track incoming payments in TAYO.pro and you would rather have your projects move straight to Done once the invoice is accepted.

If, on the other hand, you track your payments here, leave this module off: your invoices will stay Accepted until you confirm them.

  • PLUS plan. Your plan is shown in Settings → Subscriptions.
  • The module acts when the invoice becomes Accepted. It confirms no payment: the Paid status remains yours to set.
  • A deposit invoice also moves to Paid - Unverified but, as always, without changing the project’s status — see The deposit invoice.
  • The statuses explained one by one: Invoice statuses.
