Invoice reminders
TAYO.pro chases your clients who have not paid: by hand, when you decide, or on its own, on a schedule you set once. Both are part of the PLUS plan.
The manual reminder
Section titled “The manual reminder”On the row of a Sent or Accepted invoice, click the bell, Send an invoice reminder. You stay in control of the timing and the text.
Automatic reminders
Section titled “Automatic reminders”The Automatic Invoice Reminders module chases the client on its own. It is turned on in Settings → Application:
- up to 3 reminders per invoice;
- for each, the number of Days after invoice was sent (365 at most, each reminder later than the previous one) and its Message;
- the manual reminder is still possible on top.
Reminders go out in batches, every 15 minutes: a scheduled reminder leaves in the next batch.
Where to follow them
Section titled “Where to follow them”- On the invoice: ⋮ menu → Invoice reminders shows the reminders sent, scheduled and failed, the last send and the next one planned.
- On the Projects dashboard: the Scheduled Invoice Reminders indicator shows at a glance what is about to go out, without opening each invoice.
When reminders stop
Section titled “When reminders stop”A reminder only goes out for a Sent or Accepted invoice. As soon as it moves to Paid - Unverified or Paid — or is rejected or put back to draft —, the scheduled reminders are cancelled.
This is the safeguard that keeps you from chasing a client who has already paid you. It relies entirely on up-to-date statuses — hence the value of importing paid invoices if you collect many.
If you trust the acceptance
Section titled “If you trust the acceptance”If, for you, an invoice accepted by the property manager is an invoice that will be paid, turn on the accepted → paid automation. Accepted invoices then move to Paid - Unverified, and their reminders stop.
Conditions and limits
Section titled “Conditions and limits”- Manual and automatic reminders: PLUS plan. With the BASIC plan, the bell shows a padlock. Your plan is shown in Settings → Subscriptions.
- Not to be confused: invoice reminders go to the client. Project reminders are internal notes the client never sees.
- Payment tracking, status by status: Invoice statuses.
