Modules and notifications
Modules turn features on for the whole company; notifications set, for you alone, what TAYO.pro tells you about.
Modules
Section titled “Modules”In Settings → Application, you turn a module on for the whole company: Tags and Locations (BASIC plan), Project Drive, Automatic Invoice Reminders, Automate accepted invoices to paid unverified and Multi-Branch Management (PLUS plan).
- Just starting out? Do not turn on any more: turn one on when you feel you are missing it.
- The most useful first: Automatic Invoice Reminders, which chases your clients without asking you anything.
- The trickiest: Automate accepted invoices to paid unverified, which changes how an invoice counts as settled and closes the project. Read its page first.
On-site jobs & calendar
Section titled “On-site jobs & calendar”This module is on by default and free on every plan: turn it off if you do not plan your on-site jobs in TAYO.pro. The app then shows none of them: no Calendar, no On-Site jobs card on a project, nothing to create one with.
With the module off, On-site job to schedule becomes Work to close, and Close the work replaces Close on-site jobs: the project moves to Invoice to send and, on a Tayo project, the property manager learns that the work is done.
- Nothing is deleted: turned back on, the module finds your on-site jobs and the calendar as they were.
- Projects already in On-site job scheduled stay there until you close them.
- Your client, in their Client space, still reads On-site job to schedule.
Notifications
Section titled “Notifications”In Settings → Notifications, each member chooses, per event, the e-mail and the in-app alert. What they turn off stays visible in the app. Advice: Your notifications.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- A module that is off sends no notification, even if ticked.
- Project reminders are not a module: with the PLUS plan, they are in every project.
- Your notification settings change nothing for the other members.
- Tayo’s notifications are separate: see My Tayo accounts.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”An expected notification does not arrive: check that the module is on, then contact support.
