The spontaneous invoice

A spontaneous invoice is an invoice with no work order.

The typical case: a call-out or a small job for a client who knows you and simply wants to receive the invoice, without going through issuing a work order.

Creating one

From scratch — you enter the client, the site, the amount and the PDF. This is the route for a client not yet in TAYO.pro.

From an existing project — the client, site and contacts are pre-filled from the current work order. A new order is created, the old one stays intact.

Either way a project is created and then follows the usual statuses.

Not to be confused with the complementary invoice

A spontaneous invoice is separate work, with no work order behind it. A complementary invoice follows on from an accepted quote or an already invoiced project — see The complementary quote, which works the same way for invoices.
