How the Tayo connection works
Tayo and TAYO.pro are two different tools.
- Your property managers use Tayo to send you work.
- You use TAYO.pro to organise your day and handle that work.
Each tool knows you by an e-mail address. Linking them simply says: “the tradesperson in Tayo is the same person as in TAYO.pro”. After that, work can appear here automatically.
Same e-mail on both sides → quick connection. Different e-mail → custom connection, or ask the property manager to update it.
I have several e-mails on Tayo
Section titled “I have several e-mails on Tayo”TAYO.pro can link only one Tayo e-mail at a time.
If you have several company numbers (branches), create a separate TAYO.pro account for each. If different property managers use different addresses for you, ask them to use the same one.
Not sure of your company numbers (UID)? Check them on the official Swiss register.
How to ask a client to change the e-mail
Section titled “How to ask a client to change the e-mail”Contact the property manager from their Tayo platform:
- Open that manager’s Tayo site (often ending in
tayo.cloud). - Click Help, bottom right.
- Click Contact support.
- Select the type incident.
- Write a short request, for example:
Hello, we would like to change our login e-mail from XXX to YYY. Kind regards.
Repeat for every property manager still using a different address.
Why can’t I see all my clients?
Section titled “Why can’t I see all my clients?”Usually a property manager registered you on Tayo with a different e-mail from the one linked here. TAYO.pro only shows clients attached to the connected address.
Why can’t I see all my projects?
Section titled “Why can’t I see all my projects?”Either a client used a different e-mail for you on Tayo, or the projects are no longer active. TAYO.pro only imports active projects — not the whole history.
Why am I getting duplicate e-mails?
Section titled “Why am I getting duplicate e-mails?”At the start you may receive messages from both Tayo and TAYO.pro. That is normal: Tayo notifications stay on to give you time to settle in here.
When you no longer need them, switch them off on the Tayo side:
- Open your account on the Tayo platform, Notifications tab.
- Untick “TAYO.pro Supplier notification”.
This setting is global: no need to repeat it for each client.
From TAYO.pro, the shortcut is under Settings → Integrations, on the Tayo card — it takes you straight to the right screen.
