Request types

Every project in TAYO.pro is one of these four types. Two arrive from elsewhere, two you create yourself.

Work order — the property manager is ordering the work. It is approved, you can go ahead. You invoice at the end.

Quote request — the property manager wants the price first. You send a quote, and the work only starts once it is accepted.

Spontaneous quote — you propose work nobody asked for. For example, you are on site for a leak and notice a radiator that needs replacing.

Spontaneous invoice — you invoice directly, with no work order behind it. For a small job, a call-out, a client who knows you.

Both also work for clients who are not on Tayo: see Working with clients outside Tayo.

From an existing project you can create a pre-filled spontaneous quote or invoice with the same client and site. You re-enter neither the address nor the contact.

A new order is created; the old one is untouched.
